Med anledning av den pågående Coronapandemin (COVID-19) har vi i PA-styrelsen fått flertalet frågor från er föräldrar om hur vi i PA ställer oss till hanteringen av pandemin generellt och i synnerhet från skolans sida.
Skolan var snabbt ute med information kring Corona och de informerar fortlöpande om hur de resonerar kring denna svåra och mycket ovanliga situation vi står inför. De har även förmedlat att de noggrant följer utvecklingen via myndigheters officiella kanaler och att de löpande håller alla föräldrar informerade om de beslut som fattas av skolans ledning.
Vi i styrelsen har full förståelse för den oro som finns inför en ny och osäker situation, och vi vill ta tillfället i akt att påminna alla om vikten av att vara källkritisk i sitt informationsinhämtande och att följa myndigheters och regeringens rekommendationer kring hur man ska förhålla sig för att minska smittspridningen i samhället i stort.

With regard to the current coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the PA have received several
mails from concerned parents asking us how the PA responds to the handling of the pandemic in general and by the IES Ã…rsta in particular.
Since the situation with coronavirus arouse, the school has acted quickly and has continuously provided information and updates to all parents and guardians by mail and on SchoolSoft explaining the school’s handling of this difficult and extreme situation. They have communicated that they closely follow the developments via the official channels of our government and the Public Health Agency and implement their recommendations on how to handle the situation.
The board of the PA fully understands the concern many of you have regarding this new and in many ways unfamiliar situation. We would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone to apply critical thinking when reading news and searching for information about the pandemic and to follow the recommendations from the Public Health Agency and our government regarding how to act in order to minimise the spreading of the virus in the society.
